Fugro-Rovtech Ltd is part of the Survey Division, of The Fugro group of companies, the company was formed in 2006 from the ROV department of Fugro Survey Ltd and newly acquired Rovtech Ltd. Demand for ROV services is high and the joining of the two groups was almost seamless. These advantages put the newly formed Fugro-Rovtech Ltd in just the right place at just the right time. They now have a healthy backlog of work through out the Europe and Africa region with operating bases in Northern Europe the Mediterranean and in West Africa They still have an ambitious growth plan which includes the building of new vessels and ROVs and most importantly the development of its human resources through further training and development of existing staff but also recruitment at all levels. As a whole the Fugro Group now own and operate a worldwide pool of well over 100 ROVs and over 50 sea going vessels as well as many other types of equipment for example over 50 aircraft. Fugro-Rovtech Ltd operates three large ROVSV construction vessels Fugro Saltire, Skandi Carla, Skandi Inspector and also Highland Eagle which works mainly in inspection and IRM.
